Angelica Deleon

After a long restless week, I found some time for family tree information processing and web coding. This week I have been interacting with my cousin Raul Deleon (son of Ramiro) in California and Hugo Deleon (son of Roberto) in Texas. Raul is collecting family tree information to post. I have received additional family tree information from Hugo relating to his father and mother. I thank them both for taking the time from their busy schedules and providing invaluable information.

Last night I stayed up late reading, cataloging, and assimilating the Deleon files. The more I read, the more I was intrigued with my aunt Angelica’s biography. My aunt Angelica was murdered. This calamitous murder-suicide event made the local news paper “El Norte”. Dishearten enough the Deleon family knew the offender. This incident left an ever lasting impression on the Deleon family.

It is with great care that I approach posting information on this sensitive event. It’s my concern and belief if I post Angelica’s biography it may revive pernicious recollections. I am going to ponder this very carefully, for now, I will delay the posting.

I feel fortunate to have been able to anthologize and post Angelica’s family tree segment. I amassed the biography, photos, and additional notes twelve to fifteen years ago. The contributors were my uncle Armando (Angelica’s brother) and my mom (Angelica’s sister)
